Elizabeth.L. Moran is a 3rd grader with an eye for learning and letting her opinion be known, or as she puts it "Shortest in [her] class, but got lots of smarts and sass.”. She lives with her mom, who tells her stories of where she comes from, which helps helps her connect the dots beyond just social studies class. E.L. Moran is designed to encourage students, particularly black students and other student of color, to see themselves through various lenses of the historical narrative. It aims to engage students historically, in a way that feels personal and goes beyond the standard textbook. E.L.Moran is aimed at students aged 7-10.
